Landscape ArchitectureLandscape Architecture

Aquaterra has added Landscape Architecture to its' suite of land development services. A fundamental problem with many development strategies is that the human experience and the natural environment both suffer when man separates himself from nature. The goal of Landscape Architecture is to plan communities that integrate the natural with the man-made environment and to promote the idea that man is embedded within the natural matrix. This approach is one that works best when followed from the earliest stages of any land development project.

Our approach to Landscape Architecture starts with an extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering. Flowery language and colorful master plans serve no purpose if they must be continually revised to accommodate engineering requirements. Similarly, the Landscape Architect cannot be fully effective if Civil Engineering plans are completed prior to his involvement.

Our Landscape Architectural group focuses on integrating itself with Civil Engineering, so that the two disciplines develop each project from the conceptual planning process through development of construction documents, and finally to construction administration. This level of coordination is possible only with both disciplines working together, under one roof.

With offices in Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, Aquaterra is poised to efficiently provide Landscape Architectural Consulting Services throughout the Southeast.
